At today’s 11th Convocation Ceremony of the International Open University (IOU), we come together to honor the remarkable achievements of the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 graduates. This celebration is a testament to their unwavering perseverance, dedication, and the invaluable support of their families and mentors. It marks the culmination of years of tireless effort and a steadfast commitment to the pursuit of knowledge.

For the past 15 years, IOU has been at the forefront of online Islamized education, breaking down barriers of geography and financial constraints to deliver quality education to student across the globe. Today, more than one-third of our students benefit from scholarships, and women comprise over half of our student body—a reflection of our mission to promote inclusivity and empowerment in education.

To the Class of 2024, you are leaving today not just as graduates, but as future leaders, innovators, and agents of positive change. Equipped with knowledge, compassion, and vision, you’ve been prepared to tackle the challenges of a globalized world and to contribute meaningfully to society wherever your journey takes you.
